| Parking information: | Assembly and download will be at Turnberries Community Centre (Bath Road, Thornbury, BS35 2BB): https://what3words.com/untruth.scared.definite Parking is available in several car parks very near assembly: - Rock Street. Access at w3w: submerge.preheated.senders. This is adjacent to assembly, a very short walk across Bath Road. This is divided into short and long- stay. Short-stay is the half of the car park nearer assembly. - St Mary Street. Access at w3w:lift.awoke.bank. This is only marginally further from assembly, still 5minutes walk. This is a short-stay car park. Please note that South Glos Council have recently introduced parking charges that will apply if you use the above car parks, before 6.00pm. It will cost you 70p to park for up to 1 hour, £1.30 for up to 2 hours, etc. Payment is with card only (or through the MIPERMIT app). |

| Description: | Part of BOK's Urban Series, held most Wednesday evenings from late April to early July. Short, Medium and Long courses available. Best 6 results on each course score for series prizes, with separate male and female competitions. A Junior course is also being offered, suitable for Juniors (under 16) and families. |

Courses
| Course description: | Courses will feature a mix of the typical urban orienteering environment with tarmac and paved footpaths, alleyways, subways, parkland and grass playing fields. Road or trail shoes with good grips are suitable. Full leg and arm cover should not be required but please wear clothing suitable for whatever weather conditions are prevailing on the day! Map: • 1:5,000 scale with 2.5m contours. • Drawn by Mike Forrest (BOK) in 2017/18, with updates by Paul Gebbett (BOK) 2025. Updated to ISSprOM 2019 specification. • Waterproof size A3 with courses overprinted. • Loose control descriptions will also be available. |
