Courses

Course description:The forest is a complex area of mixed vegetation with an extensive path network, rides and ditches. In the northern part there are some steep slopes. Bracken remains high but most courses have been planned to avoid the worst areas. There are wild boar in the forest and they have done a good job of grubbing up some of the bracken. If you encounter them during the event, you are advised to give them a wide berth. The boar mainly move in large families and normally leave the scene quickly when they notice humans. Should they not move, go around them at a safe distance or retreat quietly as required. Map: Completely redrawn based on lidar data in 2023 for the CSC Final with some updating for this event. The many ditches are only marked on the map if they are more than one metre deep and/or have had flowing water in them. Areas shown with pink hatching are out of bounds and must be avoided.
