Emily Benham Kvale has won the Gold in the World Mountain Biking Orienteering Championships in the long event in Finland earlier today to add to her fourth place in the middle event earlier this week.
Benham Kvåle lead the race all the way through the 20,4 kilometers and defeated the reigning Long Distance champion, Camilla Søgaard (DEN) by 1.07 minutes. That’s Søgaard third silver medal after the first three WMTBOC races in Sweden.
Finlands Ruska Saarela was third, 2.01 behind Benham Kvåle.
