World Cup Round 4: Long Distance Results

26 September 2024

The 2024 World Cup Final kicked off today in the Kuopio region of Finland - also the location for next year's World Championships.

12 GB athletes tackled the tough long-distance race, with Ralph Street our top finisher in 17th. We had three other top-40 finishers - Megan Carter Davies (22nd), Grace Molloy (35th) and Josh Dudley (37th).

The team have a rest day tomorrow before the Middle Distance on Saturday and the Relay on Sunday, when GB will be fielding three teams in both the men's and the women's classes.

Performance Manager, Pippa Archer said:
"Today's race was a chance for the athletes to build on their training from the last few days and put their Scandinavian forest skills to the test. It was great to see everyone poring over maps and discussing route choices in the evening, and we are eager to get back in the forest for more technical challenges at the weekend!"

The athletes now have a rest day before Saturday's Middle Distance.
