The agenda for the 2020 National Development conference has been announced and with the theme of ‘Making Development Work For You’ considers numerous areas where clubs can take some valuable tips and advice which clubs can adapt to suit their own needs.
With places limited, members are urged to book their place early.

Saturday sees a focus on club initiatives, data and surveys to help clubs get a better understanding of how to make informed decisions on the clubs direction.

Sunday moves onto looking into the volunteering sector, youth and the club offer for members which considers what clubs are doing to help retain existing members whilst making their club an attractive position for new people in a busy sporting market.

Taking place over the weekend of Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 January 2020, the conference will be taking place at the YHA National Forest, Swadlincote, near Burton on Trent and has secured exclusive use of the venue. This will allow members to stay overnight with fellow orienteers to really add the social atmosphere and providing an excellent opportunity for networking.
