Emily Benham-Kvale followed on from her four World Champs Golds in Denmark with an almost flawless performance in the final MTBO World Cup race in Germany this weekend.
With a victory by 8 seconds in the very tough Long race and a second win by over a minute in the urban Sprint near Rabenburg, Emily made it six Golds out of six races and added a seventh by winning the overall Women's Elite World Cup for the fourth year in a row!
Another GB success was Adam Conway who clinched the bronze medal in the Young Guns World Series in M17 in his first year of competition. An excellent start.
Killian Lomas won 2 Golds (Middle Distance and Mass Start). Killian also won Bronze in the final Sprint Race, Charlie Somers Cocks won 3 Golds (Middle Distance, Mass Start and Sprint) and Silver in the Long distance. Alistair Powell also won Silver in the M40 in the World Masters Series.
Charlie finished overall winner in the World Masters Series with Silver for Karena Hanley in W55. Killian clinched Bronze in M50 in the Series with Andy Conn in silver medal position.
Congratulations to the MTBO GB Athletes!
