British Orienteering is excited to announce that Grace Molloy will be the Keynote Speaker on Saturday 11th January at the 2020 National Development Conference.
As a young elite athlete, Grace already brings a wealth of knowledge and experience of her journey through her club to where she is today. Grace will be providing valuable insights into how she’s progressed, her challenges and discuss her ideas and thoughts for the future, including how clubs can adapt and grow when developing orienteers within.
The conference also takes in ways to increase and support your orienteers, club publicity, club projects you can adapt for your own club alongside further discussion on the youth strategy.
Taking place over the weekend of Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th January 2020, the conference will be taking place at the YHA National Forest, Swadlincote, near Burton on Trent and has secured exclusive use of the venue. This will allow members to stay overnight with fellow orienteers to really add the social atmosphere and providing an excellent opportunity for networking.
A key part of the conference will see presentations of some great projects from clubs across the country. If you would like to share your story get in touch with Peter Brooke on pbrooke@britishorienteering.org.uk.
