British Orienteering has today launched a new eLearning course for Secondary School Teachers.
Orienteering is an outdoor physical activity that can be delivered safely in schools, can be delivered Covid-securely and support in the development of a young person’s confidence and the ability to make decisions to maintain an active lifestyle.
Introducing Orienteering for Secondary Schools is a new initiative and has been designed to be the first step on the leadership pathway and aims to equip teachers and leaders with the knowledge and confidence to introduce Orienteering within their setting.
Today more than ever there is an important need to support students’ understanding and development of how to keep physically active and healthy, as well as providing opportunities for students to be active during the school day through extra-curricular activities.
This e-Learning course is offered at a discounted launch price of £20 until 31 March 2021.
The cost of the course will then increase to £30 per learner.
The course will take approximately an hour to complete and can fit in around your commitments at a suitable time to suit you.
