British Orienteering Awards 2020 - Young Volunteer of the Year Announced

21 April 2021

Today we are proud to announce the Young Volunteer of the Year 2020.

This award is presented to a volunteer, under the age of 25, who has demonstrated a commitment to supporting delivery of orienteering activity with passion, energy, and enthusiasm.

This year’s winner is:  Dom Dakin (South Yorkshire Orienteers).

Commenting on his award Dom says:  “I'm delighted to have been awarded Junior volunteer for 2020. SYO is an incredibly active club, with ample opportunities for all ages and abilities - both participating and volunteering. I've particularly appreciated the supportive expertise found in fellow club members, and the appreciative comments from participants that make volunteering so rewarding!”
