British Orienteering is delighted to have received a really encouraging number of Annual Award nominations this year, 74 in total; and the quality of entries will definitely give our judges a great deal to ponder over.
Lyn West, Judith Holt, Pauline Tryner, Anne Hickling, Mark Saunders, Hamish Willis, and Ric Gamble will be judging the Volunteer and Club Awards and the Mapping Awards will be judged by Terry Smith, Adrian Pickles, Caroline Louth, and Steve McKinley.
Thank you to all those who completed a nomination form, taking a little time to reflect upon the great work which an individual, group, or club has done is greatly appreciated and I am sure you are glad you did so. As a little thank you, you will be receiving a fun runner British Orienteering keyring shortly.
All the listed (as below) nominees will receive a British Orienteering pin badge to wear with pride also shortly.
Here is a list of all the gifted and generous people and clubs who have been nominated for this year's British Orienteering Awards.

This year British Orienteering is celebrating these awards and volunteer efforts at Swansea University on Friday 15 April alongside the JK Day 1 competition winners! Please come along and show your support.
The ceremony will take place at the assembly at 16:30, immediately before the Day 1 Medal Ceremony for the races.
We appreciate that not everyone will be able to attend the ceremony and we will therefore be announcing the winners on the British Orienteering website after the presentations have taken place. British Orienteering will then run an online celebration on the British Orienteering website and will be spotlighting the work and achievements of all twelve award winners including the runners-up of each. The online celebration will start on Monday 18 April with a spotlight on two of the award winners each day over a length of six days. The announcements will take place daily (Monday 18 April to Saturday 23 April) at 10:00 and 14:00.

British Orienteering would like to take this opportunity to thank again all individuals and clubs for taking the time to submit nominations. Wishing all the nominees the best of luck as the judging now begins!
