WMOA hosting a Level C controllers course on 29th Oct

WMOA invite all budding Level C controllers to join them on Saturday 29th October.

Kindly funded by West Midlands Orienteering Association the course tutors for the day will be Henry Morgan (POTOC) and Richard Lewis (WRE) with the course running 9am - 4pm.

• The Venue for the course is SRS Urchin, Powells Pool, Stonehouse Road, Sutton Coalfield

• Arrive by 08.55 for coffee / tea and introductions for a 09.10 start.
• Pencil / pen and notebook or paper will be useful.
• Please bring your British Orienteering membership number.
• Please bring with you: Rules of Orienteering 3.9 Effective from 1st  Jan 2020. (either paper or on tablet etc)
• Be prepared to go outside for about 1.5 hrs to tape controls. Aim to finish by 16.00 hrs.

Course fee - free of charge for West Midlands Orienteering Association members.  £10 course fee for members of all other Orienteering Associations.

There are 3 levels of Controllers (Grade A, Grade B, Grade C) that have slightly different responsibilities, to find out more about Controllers and what they are responsible for see here
