"Wow, what a day! The GB athletes all did amazingly well. The courses were fiendishly tricky, physically draining, but a lot of fun!

I'm really pleased for Nathan who ran the race of his life and was rewarded with a fantastic 15th spot. But the stand-out performance was Grace's 6th place, joined by Megan in 9th - two girls in the top ten! Grace's cool head and steely determination delivered a well-earned podium place in her home town.

The team are now refuelling and resting, and are very excited for Sunday's Relay Race".
