Accommodation

We suggest that competitors stay somewhere in - or close to - Sheffield, as this will keep journey times to all days of JK25 relatively short.

Staying in the heart of the City Centre puts you in a prime location to explore the urban delights of the Steel City and comes with the option of easily taking public transport to the events. Alternatively, holiday lets on the edges of the Peak District are plentiful and will allow you to explore the rugged landscape on Sheffield's western fringes.

Further details on entries

Entries will close on 28th March 2025. After the closing date, the only entries that will be possible are Entry on Day of the Non-Competitive Courses. Transferring from a Competitive to a Non-Competitive course on the day will also be possible, subject to map availability.

All Championship Courses are pre-entered by age class (M/W10 - M/W95). All entrants on these courses must either be a member of British Orienteering or an IOF-affiliated Federation. Please note that shadowing is not allowed on Championship Courses.

All three individual days of JK25 will be World Ranking Events for the Elite classes (M/W18E, 20E and 21E). Anyone entering the WREs must provide their IOF ID when entering in order to receive World Ranking points. IOF IDs can be found here.

More details about JK 2025 are available via the event website.
