The area's runnable forest made for fast racing with intricate sand dune sections requiring discipline to orienteer precisely.
England's team of 18 junior and 24 senior athletes drawn from 24 separate clubs scored consistently across all the courses demonstrating the strength and depth of the team. England won the Interland Cup match with 218 points, the Belgian team Orienteering Vlaanderen (OV) came second with 193 points and the Belgian FRSO team came third with 161 points.
In the Junior Cup England again triumphed with the Belgian teams OV and FRSO second and third.

Huge congratulations go to England for retaining their title, and to all of the 48 athletes that travelled to compete at this year's event and their achievements across the various age classes.
Next year's event will take place in Northern France on 15 March 2026.
