Participation Officer

We are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Participation Officer to help drive the sport to new audiences.

The successful applicant will be social media savvy, with experience in creating engaging and modern content across all social media platforms.

In addition to working with wider partnerships and sponsors, the post-holder will help drive participation amongst 16-40 year-olds in new and exciting formats.

Safeguarding Officer

British Orienteering is seeking a Safeguarding Officer to join the team. They will be responsible for driving safeguarding initiatives and our annual action plan ensuring orienteering remains a safe place to be. The officer will be responsible for dealing with cases and the training and support of clubs and members.

This is a two-day-a-week role, but we welcome applications to include the development officer role and take on both positions on a full-time basis.

British Orienteering is looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Development Officer to help support clubs and volunteers. The officer will support and empower clubs to flourish in alignment with the Strategic Plan, focusing on increasing participation at events. You will assist members, clubs, and associations in creating engaging experiences that appeal to our target audience (16-40 year olds) and provide enjoyable orienteering experiences.
