The Relay Day of the British Orienteering Championships 2014 will be held on the Cragg Estate and Chesterhope Common.
This day is part of the UK Relay League. The 2014 races (subject to confirmation) are JK Relays 21st April, Harvester 18th May, Scottish Relays 25th May and British Relays 1st June. The UK Relay League prizing giving will be done alongside the main British Relays prize giving, as it is the final race in the series.
The event programme is now available for download as Word or PDF.
The Cragg Estate and Chesterhope Common are located 30 miles / 30 minutes north-west of Newcastle, just off the A68.
The Cragg Estate and Chesterhope Common are open grassy moorland areas, with a wealth of contour and rock detail resulting from previous mining activity. They are sure to provide a fast but technically challenging setting for the relay competition.
An old map can be found here.
