We spoke to some of the clubs who organised the CompassSport Heats over the weekend of 22 March 2025 in preparation for the Final which will take place later this year.

The Edinburgh University Big Weekend 2025 marked the much-awaited return of the City Race to Edinburgh’s historic city centre, after a 6-year hiatus during the extended WOC 2024 embargo. Fiona Bunn reflects on this year's event in this blog.

The campaign to protect the environment and slow the decline of biodiversity is here to stay. The Environment Act of 2021 is the UK’s framework of environmental protection. The Act also established an environmental watchdog, the Office for Environmental Protection (OEP) which holds the UK Government and other public bodies to account.

Oxford University Orienteering Club's biennial Oxford City Race took place at the end of October. It is an exciting urban event due to the permissions it is able to get from the university and its colleges to include their land in the course. Harry Stuart, the organiser and club president, answers our questions below along with Mike Shires of TVOC who ran the event publicity.
