Our sport is truly for everyone. Whether you want to introduce the family, join on your own and try something more adventurous and exciting, or elevate your fitness levels, there is something for everyone no matter what your age or ability.
We pride ourselves on being a a versatile sport. Our members range from toddler-age through to those aged 90+. The beauty of our sport is that you can join your local club to find like-minded indivduals, or orienteer at one of our permanent or virtual orienteering courses at your own leisure.
To get the most out of your membership and the orienteering community we recommend that you join your local club (and their Association) as well as British Orienteering. Most clubs organise training opportunities and social activities for their members so it is a great way to improve your orienteering skills and make new friends. If you do still wish to just join British Orienteering, simply select "BOF" when you are asked to choose a club or association.
